About EUCE

Committees

The day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the EU Center of Excellence are the responsibility of the EUCE team that consists of the Director, the Assistant Director, and the Program Coordinator. The team members work closely with three different committees to ensure the long-term self-sustainability of the center.

The Management Committee, conformed by representatives from the university’s academic colleges and schools and supporting units, provides guidance to the centers’ activities and programs in support of the university’s internationalization and diversification efforts.

The Faculty and Program Advisory Committee is an intercollegiate academic platform for advancing and promoting a more integrated European/EU approach to the university’s European educational, research and outreach programs

The Outreach Partnership Committee consists of the representatives from partner institutions in the region: (1) the Texas A&M University System, which comprises eight additional universities along with seven State agencies, (2) the Blinn College system with its regional campuses in Texas, and (3) the South Texas College of Law. The committee provides a mechanism for these regional partners to participate in and benefit from the EUCE programs and initiatives, in support of the enhancement and development of their own European programs.
