Management Committee

The Management Committee of the EU Center of Excellence (EUCE) at Texas A&M University (TAMU) has the role of contributing to and infusing additional energy into the Center in an advisory capacity, reviewing the status of ongoing activities and programs, considering any overall policy issues that need to be addressed related to the fulfillment of the mission of the Center, and helping to ensure that the Center has an over-arching purview that extends across the entire institution. The active and committed involvement of all the partners in the committee is vital to the success and credibility of the Center.

The Committee meets at least twice a year. It is chaired by the Assistant Provost for International Programs, who helps to provide general organizational oversight of the Center as a constituent unit in the International Programs Office.

The TAMU on-campus units that are integral members of the interdisciplinary and strategic partnership are all represented in the Committee: College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Mays Business School, College of Education and Human Development, Dwight Look College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, College of Geosciences, George Bush School of Government and Public Service, George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, Office of the Vice President for Research, and Sterling C. Evans Library (represented through the TAMU Libraries).
