EUCE Scholar-in-Residence AwardWith the support of the European Commission and the International Programs Office, the EU Center of Excellence (EUCE) offers on a competitive basis, funding support for a scholar in Europe to do research at Texas A&M University for a period of up to 3 months in areas of common interest to the EU and the US. The grant covers round-trip airfare, and accommodation and subsistence expenses amounting up to $8,700. Applicants must have an academic host among Texas A&M University's colleges/departments where he/she will be conducting research. NO APPLICANT WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT AN ACADEMIC HOST. The award funds must be used before August 31, 2008, and cannot be transferred to the academic host unit. The use of the funds must follow the strict disbursement guidelines from the grant funding agencies. The application deadline for the academic year 2007-2008 is:
